Institute for Research in Construction
National Research Council of
Canada
Those of us in the US owe the Canadians a real thank
you for establishing and operating the only significant independent research
laboratory in architectural acoustics in North America. Much of what
we know about architectural acoustics especially as it relates to
residential and commercial construction has originated in their
laboratories. The following are links to some important portions of
their website.
